ABOUT ME
Akim Endo Dolinsky is a Japanese-Russian film and commercial director based in Tokyo, working across commercials, music videos, and narrative films.
His work focuses on visual storytelling with a strong sense of tone, performance, and atmosphere. Influenced by his multicultural background, his films often explore themes of identity, memory, loneliness, and contemporary Japanese society through restrained, character-driven storytelling.
Alongside his original films, Akim has directed commercial work for brands including MINI, ASUS, and McDonald's, bringing the same cinematic approach to both commissioned and personal projects.
